With a strong footprint across India, including major installations in metros, airports, hospitals, hospitality, and residential complexes, Gilco Global is now strengthening its Mumbai operations . We are seeking Field Technicians to support installation, commissioning, and maintenance of elevators and escalators in line with global safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities Installation & Commissioning

Carry out installation of elevators and escalators as per technical drawings and company guidelines.
Assist in startup and commissioning of new units (ORONA & SJEC).
Perform pre-installation checks (civil works readiness, shaft dimensions, power availability).
Ensure compliance with safety codes during installation activities.
Conduct initial functional testing and adjustments before handover.

Maintenance & Service

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of elevators / escalators.

Diagnose technical issues and carry out repairs within defined timelines.

Replace worn-out parts and ensure proper tracking of spares inventory.

Document service reports, breakdown logs, and corrective actions.

Provide technical support during warranty and AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) periods.

Safety & Compliance

Follow EN81, IS, and company-specific safety standards.

Use proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and adhere to safe working practices.

Report hazards, near-misses, and unsafe conditions promptly.

Coordination & Reporting

Work under the guidance of installation managers and service supervisors.

Update job closures and service tasks on FieldCircle (FC).

Ensure daily job counts remain within contractual limits.

Maintain professional communication with clients on-site.

Requirements

ITI / Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical discipline.

2–5 years' experience in elevator / escalator installation, commissioning, or maintenance (freshers with strong technical skills may also apply).

Sound knowledge of electrical wiring, mechanical assembly, and troubleshooting.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manuals.

Familiarity with safety compliance codes (EN81, IS).

Physically fit, comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.

Strong problem-solving and team collaboration skills.
