As a Finance Manager, the incumbent will play a crucial role in assessing the financial health and ensuring the continued compliance by the organization. The responsibility will be for overseeing all financial operations, analyzing key data, and delivering strategic insights to the leadership team.
Proficiency in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting will be instrumental in guiding the company toward its financial goals. Key responsibilities and tasks :
- Accurately preparing periodic financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries along with reconciliations etc.
- Preparing periodic, reliable, timely and transparent financial and business reporting
- Provide financial expertise and support to various departments—such as sales, marketing, and operations—to help them meet their goals.
- Participate in business strategic planning process and define strategies and business plans Dynamic Forecast and Budgets
- Ensure that the organization utilizes and optimizes its cash flow through effective management of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable responsibilities in line with the business objectives.
- Ensure effective and efficient Credit Control Policies and Procedures, minimizing the risk exposure of the organization across the Country
- Define and monitor internal KPIs (e.g. working capital ratio, interest cost, debt / equity ratio, ROI, etc.) based on finance unit’s strategic plan
- Efficient Tax Management and compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax, RBI, FDI etc.)
- Cost Optimization & achieving PBT
- Finance related compliances including Closure of Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, Transfer Pricing Audit on time
- Finalization of Process documents
- Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in financial management
- Stakeholder Management
- Understanding of SAP's Weighted Average Costing and Cost Run functionality which enables effective inventory management and accurate product costing
Education and Knowledge :
Qualified Chartered Accountant (mandatory)In-depth knowledge of corporate financial planning with focus on budgeting and forecasting, risk assessment, compliance, reconciliation and audits.Solid understanding of accounting standards, financial regulations, and tax laws specific to India.Experience :
At least 5 years of post-qualification experienceExperience with Big 10 either as an Article or post qualification is mandatoryExperience within retail or fashion industry will be an added advantage though not mandatoryExposure of interaction and working with global teams is strongly preferredAbility to manage teamIn depth understanding of SAPCompetent in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPointOpen to travel : Nationally and Internationally
