About the Role

Lead MEP function of various construction projects - from conceptualization phase to construction, completion, handing over to operation.

Responsibilities

• Coordination with Management, Architects & consultants with respect to determining technical specification and project layout as per master planning.
• Check and comment on drawings prepared by Services designers and shop drawings prepared by contractors.
• Review and approve MEP tender documents (drawings, specifications, BOQ).
• Preparation of MEP Budget and doing periodic review for amendments.
• Liaison with Government departments to obtain various Pre-Construction and Post construction approval related to Services i.e. Fire Scheme Approval, Electrical Load and Sub-station layout approval, Lift License, HSD tank Approval, STP CTE and CTO, DG Set installation approval, Fire NOC, Water and sewer connection etc.
• Co-ordination and supervision of construction phase (Installation, Testing and commissioning) of Building Services i.e. HVAC, Electrical, Fire Fighting, plumbing, Lift & Escalators, DG Sets, STP, WTP, ETP, Fire Detection & alarm system, Music System, PA system, CCTV, BMS System, Swimming Pool, Water Bodies, Kitchen Equipments, Laundry, Bar Equipments, Steam Boiler, Gym, Spa & Salon, Private Theatre (Cinema) System, LPG Gas Bank & Distribution system, HSD Storage and distribution system, Bank, Audio-Video Room System, Solar Water Heating system, Solar Power Generation System, Door Access Control, Boom Barriers, Video Door Phone and other services.
• Responsible for planning and scheduling of all major MEP activities of the Project to achieve timely completion of the Project.
• Lead & participate in project design review meetings with Architect and consultants for evaluating technical queries arise during project execution and timely delivery of drawings.
• Preparation of monthly progress reports and Periodic reviewing & monitoring the progress of the project to ensure completion of project within the scheduled time and cost parameters.
• Lead team of Mechanical Electrical & PFF Managers on Site.
• Participating in project review weekly meetings for evaluating project progress & troubleshooting.
• Preparing and reviewing of Method Statements and Quality Control Plans.
• Approve contractor’s bills and ensure timely payment.

Qualifications : Degree in Electrical from a reputed engineering college

Required Skills : Leading MEP activities for large real estate projects

Preferred Skills : Supervising in house execution teams
