Senior Tester JD

Vriba is looking for Senior Tester who has real time experience and join its vibrant team and contribute to the company’s ongoing exponential growth.

Experience : 8-10 years

Location : Pune / Noida (Hybrid)

Key Skills :

• 8-10 years’ experience having Expertise in creating test cases, executing tests, reporting bugs and collaborating with developers
• Manual Testing exp 5+ years
• Experience on testing RESTful Web services API automation using REST Assured is good to have
• Exposure to Git, Jenkins, Maven, CICD Tools
• Testing of Cloud hosted applications and customer facing applications
• Payments industry experience desirable but not essential
• Experience in creating test automation for APIs, single or multiple micro services
• Experience in building test scripts for test automation framework.
• Thorough understanding of SDLC
• Excellent technical skills including SQL, and troubleshooting abilities
• Nodes / JavaScript experience or other relevant language
• Extensive API test experience
• Adopt the standards and leading practices for both custom software and package software with a focus on testing processes for continuous improvement and automation.
• Apply quality management principles and practices to work with users, testers, developers, and other stakeholders to discover problems, defects, and related exceptions with the goal to analyze the root cause issue(s) and corresponding mitigation steps to resolve.
• Hands-on experience creating, maintaining, and executing test cases / suites as well as analyzing results.
• Experienced in defect resolution and defect burn down across all related parties, including on and offshore developers, business and technical testing resources, and infrastructure teams.
• Adept at removing blocking issues to ensure progress, pace, and velocity needs are being met.
• Manage and prioritize functional and technical backlogs and defect burn downs effectively in partnership with the Program leadership team, work stream leads, and implementation partner vendors
• Possess thorough technical, analytical and operational knowledge within the QA area
• Perform initial debugging procedures by reviewing configuration files, logs, or code pieces to determine breakdown source;
• Work as part of a team of experienced QA Engineers testing multiple releases.
• Work autonomously and with minimal supervision, yet collaboratively with in and across multiple teams
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.
