Principal Consultant – SCCM Administrator with Windows Server

Location : Hyderabad / Noida / Pune / Bangalore

Experience : 8-15 years

We are looking for a Windows / VMware engineer who is highly motivated and ready to work in a team environment. The engineer should possess good communication skills and should be able to articulate complex topics to stakeholders. Has a large Windows server fleet and hence the candidate should be able to support large number of servers. In addition to catering for a dynamic environment, the candidate should also be able to collaborate with other teams such as automation / backup / VMware. The job also requires hands-on expertise on cloud technologies. The candidate should be able to work in a 24X7 environment with On-Call support.

Responsibilities

  • Installation, configuration troubleshooting of Windows server 2012, 2016, 2019.
  • Responsible for patching Windows Servers using SCCM.
  • Must have experience on upgrading the operating system to Windows Server 2019.
  • Must have a hands-on experience in Setup\Configure\Manage SCCM, Active Directory, vSphere, IIS, SMTP, SFTP, FTP and Server Hardware.
  • Extensive hands-on experience automating processes through scripting using Python and or PowerShell
  • Configuring and troubleshooting DNS / DHCP / WSUS / SCCM / AV GPOs.
  • Experienced in supporting day-to-day operational issues and runtime operations.
  • Hands-on experience on AWS Able to spin up EC2, patching in AWS, SSM, security groups, disk expansions in AWS using AWS tools
  • Able to communicate complex topics to stakeholders.
  • Has a basic hands-on on VMware
  • Able to handle deployment issues with Ansible pertaining to windows servers.
  • Vulnerability management – Zero-day ad-hoc vulnerabilities, domain controllers
  • Able to use ITIL process and ticketing tools (Familiarity with ServiceNow is a plus)
  • Installation, configuration, troubleshooting of ESX servers 6 and 7.
  • Responsible for patching and upgrades including firmware.
  • Basic understanding and hands-on on underlying storage hardware.
  • Adept at using ESXi CLI and basic commands.
  • Manage Vcenter – patching, performance upgrades etc.
  • Ability to manage switches and related configuration.
  • Hands on experience on Vcenter related configuration – able to manage / create / setup / configure clusters and related configuration.
  • Expert at troubleshooting issues in migration, ESXi slowness, HBA issues etc.
  • Able to use VROPS a plus.
  • Basic vendor management – support model (Dell, HP)
  • Hyperconverged infrastructure understanding a plus.
  • Understanding of snapshots and related Rubrik integration
  • Capacity management
  • Able to communicate complex topics to stakeholders.
  • Able to use ITIL process and ticketing tools (Familiarity with ServiceNow is a plus)

    Minimum Qualifications / Skills

  • College degree in a technical field or equivalent industry-related experience.
  • Any AWS certification would be an added plus.
  • Any Microsoft certification would be an added plus.
  • Any VMware certification would be an added plus.
