Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain web applications using the Laravel framework.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and translate project requirements into technical solutions.
  • Design and implement efficient, scalable, and secure code for web applications.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in web applications and provide timely resolutions.
  • Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in PHP and Laravel development, and suggest improvements to enhance application performance and usability.
  • Maintain documentation of code and project tasks and contribute to technical specifications.
  • Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills :

  • Strong knowledge and experience in PHP web development.
  • Proficient in Laravel framework and its ecosystem.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
  • Experience with relational databases like MySQL and ORM (Object Relational Mapping) frameworks like Eloquent.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

    • Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a PHP / Laravel Developer, with at least 1 year of experience.
  • Demonstrable portfolio of web applications developed using PHP and the Laravel framework.
  • Strong understanding of web application security best practices.
  • Relevant certifications in PHP and Laravel development is a plus.
