Job Summary :

The Medicinal Chemist at Vastu Vihar Biotech will be responsible for the design, synthesis, and analysis of bioactive compounds for pharmaceutical and biotechnological applications. The role focuses on developing innovative molecules for health and wellness solutions, supporting ongoing research projects, and contributing to product innovation and quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, synthesize, and optimize chemical compounds with potential therapeutic or bioactive properties.
• Conduct laboratory experiments involving organic synthesis, purification, and compound characterization (NMR, IR, HPLC, MS).
• Collaborate with microbiologists, pharmacologists, and formulation scientists to test and evaluate compounds.
• Support the development of new formulations, nutraceuticals, and biotech-based healthcare products.
• Maintain detailed experimental records and prepare technical reports.
• Ensure laboratory safety and compliance with internal and external regulatory standards.
• Review current research literature to identify new trends and technologies relevant to medicinal chemistry and biotechnology.
• Participate in product development meetings and contribute to innovation initiatives at Vastu Vihar Biotech.
