Coretek Labs - Wireless LAN Controller Catalyst Specialist

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Cisco wireless technologies, including Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC) and Catalyst switches. This is an on-site position in Bengaluru, requiring a deep understanding of wireless network design, implementation, and migration.

Key Responsibilities :

• Implementation & Configuration : Lead the implementation and configuration of Catalyst 9800 Wireless Controllers and other Cisco wireless infrastructure components.
• Migration : Plan and execute complex wireless network migration projects, including migrations from legacy systems such as Aruba to Cisco and Cisco AirOS to Catalyst.
• RF Design : Conduct RF design activities, including predictive surveys, as well as pre-deployment and post-deployment surveys to ensure optimal wireless coverage and performance.
• Troubleshooting : Troubleshoot and resolve complex wireless network issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Technology Expertise : Stay up-to-date with the latest wireless technologies, including a fundamental understanding of WiFi 6 / 6E.
• Documentation : Create and maintain detailed documentation of network designs, configurations, and procedures.
• Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business needs and project requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Experience : 5 to 9 years of professional experience in wireless networking.

Technical Skills :

Certifications & Knowledge (Good to have) :

Knowledge of DNAC (Cisco DNA Center), SDA (Software-Defined Access), and Cisco Meraki is an added advantage.

Location : Must be able to work on-site in Bengaluru.
