Qualifications

Required / Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or Mathematics or Physics or IT related technical discipline or in place of 5+ years of internship or 5+ years of industry software engineering experience
Proficient in C++ , C# or other high level languages
3+ years of experience in building and shipping production grade software or services

Preferred / Additional Qualifications

Good design, implementation, testing and problem-solving skills with strong system sensibilities

Good understanding on database, index implementation techniques

Familiarity with backend development

Familiarity with high performance open-source tools and frameworks

Familiarity with multi-threading, synchronous and asynchronous programming

Hands-on experience at shipping large-scale, commercial, online-software solutions

Other Requirements

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and / or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings : Microsoft Cloud Background Check :

This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire / transfer and every two years thereafter.
