Software Development Engineer II - TypeScript / MongoDB

Job Overview :

As a Technical Lead (SDE 2) at Habuild, you will lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance backend systems, ensuring platform efficiency, reliability, and extensibility.

This is a key leadership role in the engineering team, where you will own architectural decisions, build resilient infrastructure, and mentor engineers to deliver impactful technology solutions. You will work closely with product, QA, and cross-functional teams to drive progress aligned with the long-term technology roadmap.

Key Responsibilities :

• Strategize, lead, and execute the product roadmap with speed and precision.
• Drive architectural decisions to ensure system scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, PMs, QA, and developers to align technical efforts with business goals.
• Produce clean, maintainable, and high-quality code, setting strong development standards.
• Evaluate and recommend system design approaches, balancing build vs. buy decisions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and workflows.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and code excellence.
