Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our Procurement – Strategic Sourcing team as an Engineer / Senior Engineer (Electrical & Electronics Sourcing) .

In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and managing suppliers of electrical and electronic components to ensure the highest standards of quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery. You will work closely with design, production, and supplier teams to achieve optimal sourcing outcomes for SCHWING’s diverse range of products.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Source and procure electrical and electronic components in line with company quality and cost objectives.
• Estimate costs and negotiate pricing for components such as cabinets, switchgear, cables, wiring harnesses, and electromechanical assemblies.
• Evaluate suppliers for capability, quality, and compliance; manage supplier qualification and performance monitoring.
• Provide technical guidance to suppliers to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.
• Conduct PPAP audits, identify non-conformances, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Review APQP documentation and ensure supplier adherence to project timelines.
• Process purchase orders accurately and track delivery performance.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to address quality or supply-related issues.
• Prepare and present monthly KPI reports and sourcing performance updates to management.
• Support process improvement initiatives to strengthen supplier relationships and enhance overall procurement efficiency.
