Job Title : Demand Planning Specialist (SAS Viya & AI / ML)

Location : Hybrid (Bangalore, Trichy, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Gurgaon, Noida)

We are seeking an experienced Demand Planning Specialist with deep expertise in SAS Viya and a strong foundation in AI / ML-driven forecasting.

In this role, you will work with SAS Intelligent Planning to generate accurate product and location-level forecasts using advanced statistical models, AI, and machine learning.

The insights will help drive smarter decisions in inventory, supply chain, and pricing Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain shortand long-term demand forecasts using SAS Viya for Demand Planning.
• Apply advanced statistical models and AI / ML techniques to improve forecast accuracy and responsiveness.
• Partner with cross-functional teamssupply chain, sales, pricing, and othersto align demand plans with overall business objectives.
• Prepare, clean, and analyze large datasets for forecasting and performance monitoring.
• Create interactive dashboards and reports using SAS Visual Analytics and other tools.
• Support scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and process automation initiatives.
• Monitor and improve forecast performance using KPIs and regular analytics Qualifications
• 4-5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAS Viya and SAS Intelligent Planning.
• Deep understanding of statistical forecasting methods such as ARIMA, exponential smoothing, etc.
• Proficiency in SAS programming, data preparation, and SAS Visual Analytics.
• Familiarity with AI / ML techniques and tools for demand forecasting.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics.
• Experience working in cloud-based SAS environments.
