Job Title : Junior Associate Consultant (On-site at Client Office)

Location : Mumbai

Reporting to : Account / Client Servicing Lead

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Consultant to be based at the client’s office, acting as the critical bridge between our client servicing team and the client’s internal stakeholders. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of writing, research, coordination, and communication — and thrives in a dynamic environment that sits at the intersection of media, social impact, and stakeholder engagement .

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Interface & Coordination
  • Serve as the on-ground liaison between the client and the servicing team, ensuring smooth communication, timely updates, and clarity on deliverables.
  • Manage project timelines, task trackers, and approvals, ensuring that client expectations are met with precision and efficiency.
  • Content & Communication Support
  • Draft compelling notes, briefs, presentations, and communication material aligned with the client’s priorities and tone of voice.
  • Contribute to internal and external communication initiatives, including newsletters, reports, or media material.
  • Research & Reporting
  • Conduct background research and compile insights on industry trends, news developments, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the preparation of periodic reports, summaries, and presentations for client review and strategy planning.
  • Presentation & Documentation
  • Develop professional, visually appealing PowerPoint decks and documentation that articulate ideas and results clearly.
  • Maintain updated databases, trackers, and project reports.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Support outreach planning and coordination with key partners, collaborators, and influencers.
  • Track stakeholder conversations and engagements, ensuring continuity and follow-up actions.

Key Skills & Attributes

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational ability.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially PowerPoint and Excel) ; comfort with visual storytelling and report creation.
  • Analytical mindset with strong research and synthesis skills.
  • Keen interest in news, current affairs, and social impact .
  • Collaborative and proactive, with the ability to work independently in a client-facing environment
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Policy, Journalism, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • 6 months to 1 years of relevant experience in communications, research, consulting, or client servicing roles (preferred).Candidates from PR agencies internship exposure will be preferred. Resumes can also be shared at rdubey@webershandwick.com
