Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced SAP R3 HR Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in HR Payroll and the Hire-to-Retire lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, supporting, and optimizing SAP HR processes to ensure seamless HR operations across business functions. This role requires both functional depth and process understanding to bridge business requirements with SAP system capabilities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage end-to-end SAP HR module activities including configuration, customization, and support.
- Handle complete Hire-to-Retire (H2R) processes such as hiring, onboarding, payroll processing, time management, benefits administration, and separations.
- Configure and support Payroll functionalities including wage types, pay structures, statutory deductions, and post-payroll activities.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP HR solutions.
- Perform system testing, data validation, and ensure data integrity within SAP HR systems.
- Support monthly and year-end HR / payroll activities ensuring compliance with local laws and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with technical teams for issue resolution, enhancements, and interface integrations (e.g., finance, time management, or external HR systems).
- Document configurations, process flows, and standard operating procedures.
- Provide functional training and support to HR and payroll end users.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline HR processes through automation and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience :
5 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP R3 HR module implementation and support.Strong expertise in HR Payroll configuration, processing, and troubleshooting.Solid understanding of Hire-to-Retire process lifecycle.Experience working in remote, global teams aligned to CET / UTC time zones.Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams (IT, Finance, HR Ops).Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Experience in preparing functional specifications and documentation.Good to Have :
Exposure to SAP SuccessFactors or transition from R3 to S / 4 HANA environments.Knowledge of HR reporting tools or interfaces.Understanding of European payroll compliance would be an advantage.VDart : Digital Consulting & Staffing Solutions
