Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a MERN Stack Developer (Backend-Focused) . The developer will be primarily responsible for building and maintaining scalable back-end systems using Node.js, Express, and MongoDB, while also collaborating with the front-end team for smooth integration. The role involves designing and optimizing RESTful APIs, managing databases, ensuring application security, and handling deployment. A strong focus will be on backend architecture, performance optimization, and secure API development .
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust back-end systems using Node.js, Express, and MongoDB
- Design and optimize RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications
- Implement secure authentication and authorization systems (JWT, OAuth2, RBAC)
- Optimize database performance with indexing, aggregation, and query tuning
- Ensure application scalability, reliability, and security
- Collaborate with front-end developers for smooth API consumption
- Handle deployment, version control, and CI / CD workflows
- Monitor application performance, handle error logging, and implement best practices
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.js with solid backend development experienceExpertise in MongoDB (schema design, indexing, aggregation pipelines)Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architectureKnowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) , containerization (Docker / Kubernetes is a plus)Familiarity with caching (Redis, etc.) and message queues (RabbitMQ / Kafka preferred)Strong understanding of security best practices in backend systemsExperience with version control systems like Git / GitHub and CI / CD pipelinesBasic knowledge of React.js to support front-end integrationProblem-solving and analytical skills with attention to scalability and performanceExcellent communication and teamwork skillsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred, but experience matters more)Compensation
Salary : ₹10,000 – ₹15,000 per month (Performance-Based)
Incentives : Additional performance-based incentives and bonuses based on milestones and contributions.
