Job Summary :
The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large data sets to provide actionable insights that drive sales, improve marketing performance, and optimize operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in data tools, and experience in e-commerce or online retail environments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collect, process, and analyze data from various sources including website analytics, sales, marketing, and inventory systems.
- Develop dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales trends, conversion rates, and customer behavior.
- Identify business opportunities and recommend strategies to improve revenue, traffic, and engagement.
- Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to support data-driven decision-making.
- Track campaign performance and measure ROI across marketing channels.
- Manage and maintain databases to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data.
- Present insights and trends to management in a clear and actionable manner.
- Use predictive analysis to forecast sales and customer demand patterns.
Key Skills & Competencies :
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Google Analytics, Power BI / Tableau, and other data visualization tools.Understanding of e-commerce metrics (CTR, conversion rate, average order value, customer retention, etc.).Knowledge of data cleaning, validation, and statistical techniques.Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.Ability to translate complex data into simple business insights.Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.2–5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in an e-commerce or digital marketing environment.Experience with large data sets and reporting automation.Salary : As per experience and industry standards
