Job Opportunity : Assistant General Manager – Operations | Bangalore

A prominent organization in the food services and hospitality sector is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager – Operations to oversee and drive operational excellence across its India business.

Key Responsibilities :

Plan and manage operations across assigned areas to ensure service excellence.

Achieve operational goals through effective workforce management, training, and resource planning.

Ensure client satisfaction by maintaining high standards in food quality and service delivery.

Provide leadership, guidance, and support to operational teams.

Foster strong customer relationships and promote business growth.

Monitor operational execution to ensure alignment with strategic goals.

Continuously evaluate team performance, plans, and resource allocation to optimize outcomes.

Lead and motivate teams to deliver peak performance.

Minimize training costs by ensuring retention of skilled staff and timely completion of training programs.

Oversee sub-vendor performance to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Review monthly Profit & Loss statements and take corrective actions to enhance profitability without compromising on quality.

Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by senior leadership.

Qualifications & Experience :

10+ years of experience, preferably in Food Services, Catering, Banquet, Hospitality, or Hotel Management .

Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP tools .

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Background in FMCG or manufacturing sectors is an added advantage.
