Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Team Lead – Web Operations to oversee the end-to-end management of our brand websites across Shopify and Magento platforms. This role requires strong technical understanding, leadership capabilities, and the ability to streamline website operations at scale. You will lead a team responsible for site maintenance, updates, performance monitoring, and cross-functional coordination to ensure a seamless and high-performing digital experience.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Web Ops executives.
- Set priorities, assign tasks, and ensure timely delivery of all website updates and deployments.
- Build and maintain SOPs for website operations, QA, and release cycles.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and skill-building sessions.
Website Management & Maintenance
Oversee day-to-day operations across Shopify and Magento websites.Monitoring key site metrics including ATC, CTR (banners), Conversion Rate, Bounce Rate, AOV etc.Ensuring the web & app are kept up to date with;correct offers, updatedbanners, new in products / brands, regularly updated category pages.
Doing extensive research, A / B tests & competitive analysis in the areas of product assortment, pricing strategy, promotion strategy, placement & positioning on the platformUsing analytics to gain a strong understanding of the customer journey to optimise sales, measure performance & define strategyMonitoring conversion of key landing pages to improve where necessary.Technical Coordination
Collaborate with Tech / product teams to resolve bugs, implement features, and optimize the platform.Ensure SEO hygiene—redirects, metadata, URL structures, and page-level optimization.Required Skills & Qualifications
Prior experience (4 yrs+) in website operations with an agency / D2C brand / E-Commerce platformAbility to troubleshoot website issues in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skillsExposure to SEO best practices and CRO tools.
