Position : Purchasing & Material Sourcing Manager

Overview :

We’re looking for a highly analytical Purchasing & Material Sourcing Manager to lead procurement operations for our growing e-commerce business. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong SQL and data analysis skills with hands-on experience in sourcing, vendor management, and cost optimization. Experience in e-commerce is required.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with budgets and timelines.

Use SQL and advanced Excel to analyze purchasing data, track supplier performance, and optimize material sourcing.

Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.

Build and maintain a reliable vendor network and pricing database.

Lead and mentor purchasing team members.

Standardize procurement processes and reporting for efficiency.

Monitor market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Ensure timely material delivery and resolve supplier or invoicing issues.

Collaborate with accounting and operations to align on budgets and schedules.

Qualifications :

5+ years’ experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.

Strong SQL proficiency for data analysis and reporting (must-have).

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data models).

Proven negotiation and vendor management experience.

E-commerce background preferred; beauty / fashion industry preferred.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
