Speech Therapist

The Indian Public School, Coimbatore is on the lookout for a dedicated, empathetic and qualified Speech Therapist (Part-time / full-time) to join our inclusive education team, immediately.

Responsibilities include but not limited to :

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication and swallowing disorders using standardized and informal tools.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with measurable goals and evidence-based strategies.
• Provide direct therapy services to students (individual and group) focusing on articulation, fluency, voice, language and social communication skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents and school staff to support communication development in classrooms and at home.
• Guide and train educators and families on strategies to reinforce communication goals.
• Maintain accurate records, write detailed progress reports and ensure compliance with school and regulatory documentation standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated with best practices in speech-language pathology.
• Contribute to school-wide initiatives promoting communication and language development.
