Job Description :

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with 6 to 9 years of experience to support our cloud migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in migrating applications from AWS to GCP, with strong knowledge of cloud platforms, DevOps tools, and CI / CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead or support the migration of applications from AWS to GCP (Lift & Shift, Re-Platform, Re-Architect approaches)
Work with GCP services, especially GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) and GCP SDK
Perform application assessments to determine migration readiness
Design and implement CI / CD pipelines to support build and deployment processes
Collaborate with development teams using Java, .NET, or Python
Monitor and troubleshoot application and infrastructure performance post-migration
Ensure security, scalability, and reliability throughout the migration process

Required Skills :

Proven experience in cloud migration projects (AWS to GCP)

Hands-on experience with GKE, GCP SDK, and CI / CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)

Strong programming / scripting knowledge in Java, .NET, or Python

Familiarity with application assessment tools and methodologies

Solid understanding of DevOps best practices

Preferred Qualifications :

Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer)

Experience in re-architecting legacy applications for cloud-native platforms

Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
