Key Responsibilities
1. Hiring and Onboarding
- Handle the entire hiring process—sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and joining formalities—for corporate, plant, and field roles. Support campus hiring and recruitment drives when needed.
- Conduct structured induction, collect documents, complete background checks, and track 30 / 60 / 90-day onboarding progress.
2. Performance & Talent Management
Manage the performance review cycle, including goal-setting, mid-year reviews, and PIP tracking, ensuring fairness.Identify training needs and coordinate technical, safety, and soft-skills training programs.3. Payroll, HRMS & Employee Services
Work with Finance to ensure accurate monthly payroll inputs; manage attendance, leaves, benefits, reimbursements, and exit formalities on the HRMS.Maintain complete and error-free employee files and HR documents.4. Employee Engagement, Welfare & ER
Run engagement and welfare activities to support culture, retention, and productivity; act as the point of contact for employee grievances and policy questions.Plan engagement activities across locations and track participation and impact.5. Compliance & Audits
Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements (PF, ESI, gratuity, minimum wage, etc.). Maintain statutory registers, SOPs, and support internal / external audits.Keep all HR files and trackers updated and audit-ready.6. Administration & Infrastructure Management
Oversee facilities, housekeeping, transport, security, pantry services, visitor management, and workplace safety across offices and sites.Manage vendor selection, contracts, SLAs, costs, and minor civil / electrical work; raise and track service requests and AMC schedules.7. Site & Project Support (Biogas / CBG Context)
Support project sites with onboarding, statutory compliance, PPE distribution, attendance accuracy, and O&M shift planning.Coordinate safety training and audits specific to biogas and waste-to-energy plant operations.8. Data, Dashboards & SOPs
Maintain HR / Admin MIS : headcount, open positions, payroll accuracy, leave data, training hours, engagement metrics, vendor SLAs, and audit status.Create or update HR / Admin SOPs, share policy updates, and ensure adoption through communication and checklists.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Accuracy : Error-free employee records, payroll inputs, and documentation.Timeliness : Meeting SLAs for HR tasks, hiring turnaround time, onboarding completion, and ticket resolution.Engagement & Training : Planned activities completed; participation levels; total training hours.Admin Efficiency : Response / resolution time for facility issues, vendor SLA performance, and adherence to budgets.Compliance : Zero major audit findings; on-time statutory filings and registers.Skills & Competencies
Technical : HRMS / HRIS and payroll systems, ATS tools, vendor and contract basics, advanced MS Office.Behavioural : Strong execution, teamwork, responsiveness, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and ownership.Domain : Comfortable working with multi-entity setups and plant / site operations in renewable energy / biogas sectors.Qualifications & Experience
Education : MBA in HR preferred; BBA (HR) or relevant graduation acceptable.
