X++ Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced X++ Developer to join client’s Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations team. This role will focus on developing, customizing, and optimizing D365 F&O solutions using X++, with additional emphasis on Electronic Reporting, system integrations, and performance improvements. You will collaborate closely with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that support complex business processes in a global automotive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O solutions using X++.

Build and enhance Electronic Reporting (ER) configurations aligned with business requirements.

Collaborate with functional teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing code for performance and scalability.

Participate in full-cycle implementation projects, from design through to deployment and support.

Develop and maintain integrations with internal and external systems using standard frameworks.

Support data migration activities, ensuring integrity and quality of transferred data.

Provide technical documentation and contribute to knowledge transfer across teams.

Ensure all customizations align with best practices, coding standards, and regulatory compliance.

Required Skills & Experience

12+ years of hands-on experience with X++ development in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.

Strong expertise in Electronic Reporting (ER) within D365.

Proven track record of delivering customizations and enhancements in enterprise ERP environments.

Good knowledge of D365 modules such as :

Finance (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets)

Supply Chain (Procurement & Sourcing, Inventory, Warehouse, Product Information Management)

Experience with integrations, data migration, and performance tuning.

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).

Ability to work collaboratively in global, cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

Experience with ISVs such as Exflow (SignUp), TAS (SK Global), or Comarch.

Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI / CD pipelines, version control, and release management.

Microsoft certifications in D365 F&O or related areas.

Exposure to localizations and compliance for multi-country implementations.
