What will you do
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies to verify the reliability, scalability, and performance of OpenShift Builds features and components.
- Design and implement automated testing frameworks and test suites for continuous integration and deployment, utilizing CI / CD tools like Tekton.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and DevOps, to identify quality goals and align testing efforts with product requirements.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve test failures, bugs, and performance issues, contributing to continuous improvement in product quality.
- Ensure thorough test coverage across all critical features by contributing to and expanding the suite of automated tests.
- Actively participate in code reviews, design discussions, and upstream contributions, maintaining alignment with open-source standards and best practices.
What will you bring
3+ years of experience in quality engineering, with a focus on automated testing in cloud-native or distributed systems.Experience with Golang is preferred to build and maintain automated test suites, experience with scripting languages is mandatoryExperience in testing tools and frameworks, particularly those for Kubernetes, CI / CD pipelines, and cloud-native applications.Familiarity with CI / CD tools such as Tekton, Argo Workflows, or GitHub Actions.Strong knowledge of Linux and a deep understanding of networking, security, and cloud infrastructure.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative and open-source mindset.Good written and verbal communication skills in EnglishPractical knowledge of git and related source control management systems (exGitHub, GitLab).Experience contributing to open source projects and familiarity with open source software development processes is an advantage.Skills Required
