Job descriptionImplement and maintain admissions software / CRM systems for data tracking and reporting. Continuously refine processes to improve applicant experience. Oversee counseling efforts to guide students and parents through academic offerings, career outcomes, and institutional strengths. Address concerns and objections empathetically, ensuring clarity and trust in decision-making. Provide personalized support for high-potential applicants and their families. Define and manage scholarship / financial aid policies. Ensure transparent communication of eligibility and disbursal processes. Monitor impact of scholarships on student diversity, quality, and overall intake. Ensure adherence to all institutional, national, and accreditation requirements. Establish and maintain documentation for audit purposes. Implement robust quality checks at every stage of admissions. Work closely with academic teams to understand curriculum and outcomes for effective pitching. Coordinate with marketing for lead generation and branding campaigns. Collaborate with student success and placement teams to showcase success stories in admissions efforts. Master’s degree in Education, Management, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred). 6–8 years of experience in admissions, student recruitment, or higher education leadership. Proven track record of meeting admissions / enrollment targets. Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze and optimize processes. Empathy and cultural sensitivity in engaging with students and parents. About the Role
The Head of Admissions will play a critical role in shaping the student body by leading the entire admissions function. This includes developing and executing admission strategies, managing the applicant funnel, ensuring transparency and fairness in the process, and building strong relationships with students and parents. The role requires a balance of strategic thinking, operational excellence, and empathetic communication.
