Our Performance Skincare brand 'Melblok' makes 'Restorative Skin Care Powered by Science'. Melblok's products are high-performance, problem-solving, and both effective and safe. We use bio-appropriate, clean ingredients, and materials that are all-natural, sustainable, and biodegradable.

Role Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed research and analysis in cosmetic chemistry and market trends.
• Develop and formulate new cosmetic products in alignment with company standards.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure products meet consumer needs and align with market demands.
• Perform quality checks on new and existing products to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Prepare product specifications and technical documentation for regulatory approvals.
• Maintain an organized database of formulations and product performance data.
• Assist in product testing and collect user feedback for continuous improvement.
• Keep abreast of advancements in cosmetic ingredients and formulations.
• Engage with suppliers to source high-quality raw materials for product development.
• Prepare reports on product efficacy and trends to inform decision-making.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to align on project goals and timelines.
• Support the R&D team with projects from conception to launch.
• Implement sustainable practices in product development and research initiatives.
• Contribute innovative ideas for new products or improvements in existing products.
• Assist in Production technology transfer & other manufacturing task.
• Assist in Audit & quality check of 3rd party manufactures as required by the company from time to time.
  
  

Qualifications

Must have secured 80% or above in Sr Secondary School.

• Bachelor's degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Proven experience in R&D within the cosmetic industry.
• Strong understanding of cosmetic formulation and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements for cosmetic products.
• Experience with product testing and quality assurance methodologies.
• Familiarity with the latest trends in cosmetic ingredients and technology.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and project management capabilities.
• Proficient in using research and data analysis tools.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workflow.

Hiring & reporting manager: Director

Hours: 5 days work week. Weekly off on sat & sun, except during audits, and as required by the company.

Location: Gurgaon or willing to Relocate to Gurgaon.

Starting date: immediate

Must be willing to Re-Locate within 15mins of the factory walking distance.

Note: This is a growth position. As the company is growing, the successful candidate will get a chance to rapidly progress into higher roles.
