Teamware Solutions is seeking a skilled professional for the Windows PowerShell / EUCS Tools SCCM role. This position is crucial for automating endpoint management, optimizing end-user computing services, and maintaining robust system configurations. You'll work with relevant technologies, ensuring smooth operations, and contributing significantly to business objectives through expert analysis, development of scripts, implementation of solutions, and troubleshooting within the Windows PowerShell and EUCS (End User Computing Services) tools, particularly SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) domain.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- PowerShell Scripting : Develop, test, and maintain complex PowerShell scripts for automating various IT operations tasks, including system configuration, software deployment, user and group management, data collection, and reporting across Windows environments.
- SCCM Administration : Administer and manage Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) , including client health, package and application deployment, software metering, operating system deployment (OSD), patch management, and inventory management.
- Endpoint Management : Utilize SCCM and PowerShell to effectively manage a large fleet of Windows endpoints, ensuring security compliance, software updates, and optimized performance.
- EUCS Tool Integration : Work with and integrate various End User Computing Services (EUCS) tools to streamline workflows and enhance endpoint management capabilities.
- Automation Development : Identify opportunities for automation within IT operations and design and implement automated solutions using PowerShell and SCCM functionalities.
- Troubleshooting : Perform in-depth troubleshooting and root cause analysis for issues related to SCCM deployments, PowerShell scripts, Windows endpoint configurations, and software installations.
- Reporting & Analytics : Generate detailed reports on system configurations, software compliance, patch status, and other key metrics using SCCM reporting services and custom PowerShell scripts.
- Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for scripts, SCCM configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Collaboration : Work closely with other IT teams, including security, network, and helpdesk, to ensure seamless endpoint operations and support user needs.
Preferred Candidate Profile :
Windows PowerShell Expertise : Strong hands-on experience in designing, developing, and debugging complex PowerShell scripts for Windows system administration and automation.SCCM Administration : Proven experience in administering and managing Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) , including deep knowledge of its various components and features.Windows OS Knowledge : In-depth understanding of Windows operating systems (client and server versions), Active Directory, Group Policy, and registry.Endpoint Management Concepts : Solid understanding of endpoint security, patch management, software deployment, and system imaging principles.Problem-Solving : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
