Junior Legal Associate

We are seeking a

sharp, driven, and detail-oriented Junior Legal Associate

to join the growing legal and compliance team of our client. This role will support the legal function across

corporate, retail, and brand partnership verticals.

The selected candidate will work closely with business, leasing, and finance teams to ensure legal interests are protected while enabling

smooth, fast-paced deal execution.

You will assist in

drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial lease transactions,

support due diligence requirements, review

service level agreements,

maintain legal trackers, and coordinate with

external counsel

on property, compliance, and company law matters.

Key Responsibilities

Review and negotiate legal documents including

Lease Deeds, Leave & License Agreements, MOUs, Term Sheets , etc.

Conduct

due diligence exercises

for properties of interest to the company.

Support

brand onboarding transactions

and ensure alignment with standard commercial and legal positions by drafting and reviewing

service level agreements

and related compliance documents.

Maintain

detailed trackers

for all ongoing deals, ensuring visibility for leadership and cross-functional teams.

Coordinate with business teams to monitor key contractual milestones such as

handover dates, renewals, and compliance timelines.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Law (BBA-LLB / BA-LLB).

1–3 years of experience

in a law firm or in-house legal team, preferably in

real estate, retail, general corporate,

or

commercial contracts.

Exposure to

real estate matters

including lease / license agreements and

property due diligence

will be an advantage.

Ability to

multi-task

and adhere to internal legal guidelines to protect company interests.

Excellent

communication and interpersonal skills

for cross-functional coordination.

Proactive, organized,

and willing to learn through

hands-on engagement

in live deals.
