Job Description :
The Purchasing Manager will lead procurement activities for construction materials and vendor management and ensure timely delivery for project execution.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify material requirements and raise purchase orders.
- Source vendors, negotiate prices, and finalise contracts.
- Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with site engineers for material delivery.
- Track purchase schedules and ensure timely supply of materials.
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships and evaluate performance.
- Ensure cost optimisation and quality standards in procurement.
- Maintain procurement records, bills, and documentation.
Required Skills :
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.Knowledge of construction materials and procurement processes.Good understanding of purchase documentation and compliance.Excellent coordination and communication skills.Proficiency in MS Excel and purchase management tools.
