Purpose of the Job
An excellent opportunity has become available for a proactive and motivated Service Engineer-
Refrigeration to join our team. This role will be responsible for field / On-Site and depot service
requirements, for all our fleet within the West India region.
Job Accountabilities / Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out the total maintenance needs of all temporary cooling hire fleet assets to ensure we
receive the best possible returns on expenditure mainly Chillers, A / C, AHU, CT, Fluid Pump
etc.
2. Maintain the levels of all required materials and ensure the appropriate tools are in place and
maintained ready for use.
3. Having hands-on experience in Leak testing, brazing and troubleshooting of Chillers.
4. Should have knowledge of Carel, Trane and York Millennium controllers.
5. Contribute to optimum team performance and capability by providing quality workmanship to
maintain and enhance the reliability of equipment.
6. Conduct weekly / monthly scheduled service plan to maintain optimum fleet performance
within North India Region.
7. Timely and effectively carry out; internal maintenance and repairs, customer site
commissioning / decommissioning.
8. Carry out effective troubleshooting to minimize downtime and unnecessary repair costs.
9. Accurately complete Service Order paperwork to ensure accuracy of stock take and asset
verification.
10. Monitoring and analysis performance of temperature control equipment’s and online guidance
to site engineer / operators for necessary corrective action for any deviation in performance of
TC equipment.
11. Training to operators / technicians and ensure log sheets are recorded diligently
12. Ensure immediate response and minimal disruption to client’s requirements.
13. Comply with all of Aggreko 's Health, Safety, Environmental policies and procedures.
14. Reporting on competitor activity visible on customer’s site(s).
Qualifications & Experience
1. Trade qualification as a refrigeration mechanical Engineering / Diploma, supported by current
documentation including; a Current Driver 's License, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
Mechanical / Electrical Degree / Diploma, restricted Electrical License (more preferred)
2. Minimum 3 to 5 Years of Experience in a similar industry.
3. Hands-on experience mandatory.
Desired Skills
1. You must also be willing to work on call as needed and be flexible to travel.
2. Good command of English and Hindi language, spoken and written.
3. Possession of light vehicle driving license essential.
4. Ability to work in a team environment and be self-driven.
5. Previous Experience with Trane, System Air and Christopia chillers will be an added advantage.
