Rust Developer - C / C++

Profile :

We are looking for an experienced Rust developer with a strong background in systems programming and a deep understanding of Rusts core principles. The ideal candidate should either have experience or demonstrate strong interest in working across Android platform internals or security-focused domains. The candidate will be part of a team developing software that runs on millions of devices, with opportunities to work on cutting-edge technology spanning operating systems, security, and device ecosystems.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software while collaborating with various teams to deliver quality products. The candidate will design, implement, and maintain solutions while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.

Required Technical Skills :

Strong proficiency in Rust, with deep knowledge of :

• Ownership, borrowing, lifetimes, and concurrency patterns
• Asynchronous programming (e.g., using Tokio, async-std)
• Common Rust crates and the broader Rust ecosystem
• Proven professional experience developing software in Rust
• Knowledge of C / C++ and Java
• Debugging, profiling and development environments
• Software Processes, Configuration Management, Test Planning and Execution
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Working knowledge of Android and its environments
• Understanding of software security principles, vulnerability mitigation, or secure coding practices
• Penetration testing, threat detection, security assessment would be a bonus

Required Soft Skills : Go-getting, independent and wanting to explore creative avenues

Desired Skills and Experience : Engineer Software Development, Stack Development, Product Development Knowledge of Software Security is an added advantage
