Job Title : Product Owner
Role Summary
we are seeking a hands-on Product Owner to lead the end-to-end digital transformation and continual optimization of our global website. This individual will personally drive all phases of product planning and execution, working closely with cross-functional peers, and will be directly accountable for delivering measurable results on time, without the support of direct reports.
Accountability
- Sole ownership of the product backlog, defining, refining, and prioritizing work for all development cycles.
- Direct accountability for the planning, successful delivery, and ongoing iteration of Client's digital experiences.
- Ensures all goals, timelines, and quality standards are met without delegation.
- Functions as the single point of contact for stakeholder communication across UX, Design, Technology, Content, SEO / SEM, and Analytics.
Responsibilities
Vision & Strategy : Reimagine and champion a best-in-class digital experience across Client's Product that aligns with company strategy and customer needs.End-to-End Backlog Ownership : Personally write detailed user stories, define epics, prioritize features, and score technical complexity with engineering partners.Execution Discipline : Develop practical product and project plans, manage delivery schedules, and proactively mitigate risks to prevent any slippage on deadlines.Hands-On Delivery : Execute backlog grooming, sprint planning, UAT, documentation, and demo activities without the support of direct reports.Stakeholder Engagement : Work side-by-side with functional leads in UX, Design, Tech Development, Web Operations, Content, SEO / SEM, and Analytics to align priorities and resolve issues.Data-Driven Decisions : Analyze website performance, customer feedback, and analytics to drive continual enhancements.Third-Party Management : Coordinate directly with external vendors or partners on integrations or technical requirements.Product & Project Management : Treat Client's Product as a holistic product—roadmap features, document dependencies, track KPIs, and maintain visibility for all stakeholders.Communication : Provide clear, regular updates and escalate risks early for resolution.Required Experience & Skills
Minimum 7 years of Product Owner, Product Manager, or Technical Delivery experience with large-scale, enterprise-grade websites.Demonstrated success leading digital transformations, from vision through delivery, with measurable impact and no project slip.Strong technical proficiency in web and digital platforms (front-end frameworks, and ideally Adobe Experience Manager / AEM).Hands-on expertise managing product and project lifecycle in JIRA or similar tools.Proven ability to operate independently—executing detailed tasks personally, without support staff or direct reports.Skilled in stakeholder management and cross-functional alignment (UX, Tech, Content, SEO, Analytics).Comfort working directly with third-party tech providers and vendors.Advanced problem-solving and risk management skills.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.Ideal Attributes
