Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Azure APIM Specialist to design, implement, and manage API solutions using Azure API Management. The ideal candidate will ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing API integrations, while driving automation and governance across the API lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Configure and manage Azure API Management (APIM) policies, developer portals, and complete API lifecycle.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance API integrations .
Automate deployments using CI / CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot API performance with Azure monitoring tools .
Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory standards .

Required Skills & Expertise

API Management & Integration

Strong hands-on experience with Azure API Management (API import / export, policy configuration, developer portal, versioning, revisions).

Expertise in RESTful API design and OpenAPI / Swagger documentation .

Security & Governance

Proficiency in OAuth2, JWT, API key management .

Experience with Azure Key Vault and RBAC .

Solid understanding of compliance and governance in cloud environments.

DevOps & Automation

Experience building CI / CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python .

Familiarity with Terraform or Pulumi for Infrastructure as Code.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting

Hands-on expertise with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics .

Ability to debug, optimize, and enhance API performance .
