JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title : Senior Research Associate / Associate Scientist
Department : Biology -DMPK
Key Responsibilities
- Primary responsibility is to study design, execution, data analysis and reporting of ADME studies.
- Experience on in vitro ADME studies using microsomes, hepatocytes in 96 well format.
- Validation / standardization of in vitro assays.
- Responsible for data integrity and good documentation practices such as recording of data in LNB and completion of studies as per requirement.
- Should have experience in CYP inhibition assays.
- Should be capable of automating assays using the BioMek platform.
- Operation and maintenance of Laboratory equipment’s
- Prepare and upload study reports in excel and word format into databases.
- Ensure all the instruments are maintained in calibrated status.
- Coordinate with QA / QC during the report review and facility-based inspections.
Required Experience & Skills
Masters with 2- 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical / biotechnology / CRO industry or other equal in academic research / drug discovery experience within the pharmaceutical / biotechnology / CRO industry.Good knowledge and broad experience in in-vitro ADME assays.Familiar with regulatory guidelines on IND enabling assays.Sound communication skills (both verbal and written) and presentation skills in English.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team.Proficiency in computer and should have sufficient knowledge of statistics.Technical expertise in trouble shooting the assay’s.Note : “Aragen provides equal employment opportunity to all persons regardless of age, colour, national origin, citizenship status or mental disability, race, religion, creed, gender, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and / or expression, genetic information, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, veteran status or any other characteristic protected by applicable legislation or local law.
