Assembly Manufacturing Engineer

Description

We are seeking a motivated Assembly Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing assembly processes to enhance productivity and quality in our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

Develop the Assembly manufacturing process to meet Engineering on the  CATIA V5  platform

Responsible for analyzing any change in the existing assembly process and process revision in ERP System

Support Tooling, IE, Quality, Production, SCM in Industrialization of the Assembly Products

Functional

2D & 3D DRAWING READING PER ASME Y.14.100 & ASME Y14.5-1994 / 2009

Global Specification reading related to Aerostructure Assemblies

Ability to assess contract compliance and product / service quality

Technical Know / How

Preparation of process sheet based on drawings

Knowledge of M&P, Aerospace materials and how they apply to different regulatory approval, burn properties, etc.

PPAP, PFMEA, Six Sigma, 8D, APQP prefered

Soft Skills / Behavioural Competencies

SAP,  CATIA ,  3D VIEWER , MS Office,

Superior oral and written communication, teaming and the demonstrated ability to understand strategic and business implications of proposed solutions

Experience with product development and stage-gated processes. Organizational skills and experience working in a matrix environment

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in assembly manufacturing or related engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies..
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
