Job description

Teamware Solutions is seeking a specialized Elastic Path Developer to design, build, and optimize cutting-edge e-commerce solutions. You'll play a crucial role in customizing and extending the Elastic Path platform, enabling rich, scalable, and personalized digital commerce experiences for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, and integrate features and functionalities within the Elastic Path Commerce platform .
  • Implement complex commerce business logic, product catalog management, pricing rules, and order fulfillment processes.
  • Design and build robust integrations between Elastic Path and other systems, including ERP, CRM, payment gateways, and content management systems.
  • Work with Elastic Path Composable Commerce components, APIs, and microservices to deliver flexible and scalable solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and coding standards for Elastic Path development.
  • Collaborate with architects, front-end developers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues within the Elastic Path environment, ensuring optimal performance and stability.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Elastic Path Developer or in a similar e-commerce platform development role.

    • Skills Required :

  • Strong hands-on experience with the Elastic Path Commerce platform , including its core architecture, APIs, and customization capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Java and Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data) as Elastic Path is built on these technologies.
  • Experience with RESTful API development and consumption .
  • Solid understanding of e-commerce concepts , including product catalogs, pricing, promotions, order management, and customer accounts.
  • Familiarity with database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM frameworks.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) .
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

    • Preferred Skills :

  • Experience with Elastic Path Composable Commerce and its newer services.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., Angular, React) for headless commerce implementations.
  • Experience with other e-commerce platforms (e.g., Adobe Commerce / Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud) is a plus.
