API Automation Specialist

Job Summary :

This role involves developing and implementing BDD test scenarios based on business requirements, adding an automation layer for BDD tests contributing to the Regression Suite, performing test runs, identifying issues, and conducting root cause analysis. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in API testing and automation using C# / Java, experience working in Agile Development methodologies, familiarity with SQL and databases for test setup, debugging, and diagnosis, and experience with Specflow / Cucumber is a plus.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) test scenarios based on business requirements
• Implement an automation layer for BDD tests that contribute to the Regression Suite
• Perform automated test runs, identify issues, and conduct root cause analysis to ensure high-quality software delivery
• Continuously improve our test process by identifying opportunities and implementing changes
• Conduct manual testing as needed to meet business requirements
