Role Description

Wesco is seeking a full-time remote Senior Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain back-end systems and software products. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions, implementing object-oriented programming principles, and managing databases to optimize performance and reliability. The Senior Python Developer will ensure consistent code quality, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to system architecture and development best practices.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development
• Strong expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and general Programming principles
• Experience working with Databases for optimized, scalable data storage and management
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote role
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is advantageous
