Job Title : Senior Manager - Planning

Location : Mumbai

Department : MD's Office

Reporting to : Director

Job Purpose :

To ensure timely planning, coordination, and execution of commercial and residential construction projects by collaborating with internal departments, vendors, and site teams while maintaining quality, cost-efficiency, and compliance with project timelines.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain project schedules using planning tools (MS Project, Primavera, or Excel-based trackers)

Coordinate with architects, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow

Support Project Managers in preparing execution plans, milestones, and resource schedules

Monitor project progress and update management regularly on risks, delays, or scope changes

Maintain documentation related to work orders, purchase requests, RFI logs, and project reports

Liaise between office and site teams to ensure alignment in design, planning, and execution

Track material procurement schedules and ensure timely delivery to avoid site delays

Ensure regulatory and compliance documentation is in place before work commences

Tools & Software Required :

MS Project

Primavera P6

for project scheduling and Gantt charts

AutoCAD

/ PDF Markups for reading drawings

MS Excel / PowerPoint

for reporting and dashboards

ERP / Project Management Tools

if implemented (e.g., BuildSmart, SAP, Zoho Projects)

Email & Communication Tools

MS Outlook, WhatsApp (for field coordination)

Core Competencies Required :

Strong organizational and coordination abilities

Understanding of construction sequences and building codes (especially BMC norms)

Basic budgeting and cost control understanding

Analytical thinking and problem-solving approach

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Eye for detail with a commitment to quality execution

Skills & Qualifications :

Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management

10 to 15 years of experience in planning or project coordination roles in real estate

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi

Knowledge of Mumbai's local project regulations and site logistics is a plus

Comfortable traveling between multiple project locations in Bandra and Ghatkopar
