We are looking for a Preschool Head to lead KORA Early Years to join us from December 1st, 2025.

Position Summary :

The Head of Preschool will lead the overall functioning of the preschool, ensuring a high standard of early childhood education, smooth day-to-day operations, and the well-being of both students and staff. The role demands strong leadership, a child-first mindset, and the ability to build a nurturing learning environment for children while maintaining productive relationships with parents and the broader school community.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Academic Leadership

  • Guide teachers in planning and ensuring effective implementation of the curriculum and other learning activities..
  • Conduct regular classroom observations and academic reviews.
  • Support and monitor age-appropriate assessment and classroom engagement.

2. Staff Management

  • Recruit, onboard, and mentor teaching and support staff aligned with the school’s pedagogical vision.
  • Manage staff schedules, leaves, and workload distribution to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, professional trust, and continuous learning.
  • Conduct regular pedagogical meetings, team reflections, and performance reviews.
  • 3. Centre Operations

  • Oversee daily centre operations, including routines, safety protocols, and infrastructure needs.
  • Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and licensing standards.
  • Coordinate with vendors, support services, and maintenance teams.
  • Maintain centre-level records, documentation, and compliance files.
  • Oversee timely fee collection and follow-up, ensuring transparency and accuracy in records.
  • Coordinate with the accounts team on reconciliation and parent communications related to fees.
  • Oversee ERP implementation and upkeep, ensuring staff entries, child records, attendance, fees, and academic data are up-to-date.
  • 4. Parent & Community Engagement

  • Build strong, respectful partnerships with families based on open communication and trust.
  • Conduct parent orientations, regular meetings, and community-building activities.
  • Address parent concerns with empathy, professionalism, and solution-oriented communication.
  • 5. Admissions & Growth

  • Lead the admissions process, ensuring fit between school philosophy and family expectations.
  • Conduct centre tours and counselling sessions for prospective parents.
  • Monitor enrolment trends and implement strategies to meet growth and retention targets.
  • 6. Digital Presence & Communication

  • Manage and contribute to the preschool’s social media platforms in alignment with the school’s values.
  • Share highlights of student learning, classroom experiences, and centre events.
  • Coordinate with the creative team to showcase meaningful content responsibly.
  • 7. Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track child development, educator performance, and centre-level KPIs.
  • Share regular reports with school leadership and relevant stakeholders on academic progress, feedback trends, and operational highlights.
  • Use feedback data and analytics to drive improvement in teaching, learning, and parent experience.
  • Qualifications and Experience

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Early Childhood Education, Educational Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in early years education, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Familiarity with Finland-inspired, Montessori, Reggio, or play-based learning models preferred.
  • Comfortable with ERP systems, digital tools, and social media platforms.
  • Strong English communication skills and organisational acumen.
  • We require applicants to be residents of HSR Layout or its surrounding areas.

    Please note that we do not provide conveyance allowances, and applicants should be prepared to commute to the workplace independently. Please mention your area of residence while submitting your application.

    Remuneration Range : The salary range for this position is ₹ 65,000 to ₹ 75,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
