Role Summary
The Marketing Manager is responsible for driving demand generation, creating brand awareness, building customer personas, and converting leads into qualified meetings for the sales team.
1. Key Deliverables
Deliverable 1 : Lead Generation
Run targeted campaigns on LinkedIn, email, and niche B2B channels
Build lead lists based on ICP
Engage and nurture leads until handover
Deliverable 2 : Meeting Setups
Follow up with warm leads
Qualify fit based on ICP
Schedule meetings for Sales / Consulting team
Deliverable 3 : Awareness & Positioning Campaigns
Plan and execute brand, content, and positioning campaigns
Publish thought leadership posts (cloud, security, SRE, automation)
Manage LinkedIn company page and leadership profiles
Deliverable 4 : Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) & Persona Development
Define ICP based on geography, industry, size, and tech maturity
Develop buyer personas (CIO, CTO, Head of Cloud, CISO)
Keep ICP and personas updated quarterly
Deliverable 5 : Industry Events & Partnerships
Identify relevant cloud, DevSecOps, and automation events
Manage participation, booth support, and lead capture
Build partnerships with ecosystem vendors
2. Skills Required
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Technology, or a related field (MBA preferred but not mandatory)
Experience : 3–6 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in IT consulting, cloud engineering, or enterprise technology services
B2B marketing experience in IT services, cloud, security, automation, or consulting
Expertise in LinkedIn organic + paid campaigns
Strong communication, copywriting, and storytelling skills
Ability to run multi-channel demand generation
Hands-on experience with CRM tools and analytics dashboards
3. Knowledge Required
Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
Basic knowledge of DevOps, SRE, security, and automation concepts
Knowledge of B2B SaaS / IT buying cycles
Data analytics and campaign optimisation
Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Apollo, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, etc.
