About the role
In an exciting period of growth, Krea is looking to hire a new Director of Recruitment and Admissions.
The Director of Recruitment and Admissions will have responsibility for the overall outreach and admissions functions of the University. They will be responsible for the development and implementation of policies and procedures pertaining to the outreach and admissions departments. The Director will provide overall leadership and strategic vision for admitting incoming classes to the University. They will be responsible for analysing and modifying the recruitment plan to ensure that it aligns with Krea’s overarching goals. The Director will work collaboratively with management and heads of other departments to develop innovative strategies to achieve institutional goals.
The Director of Recruitment and Admissions will report to the COO and will work in close collaboration with the Vice-Chancellor, School Deans, Academic Administration, Student Services, Career Services, Alumni Relations, Finance, Operations, and Communications.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following :
Provide leadership and strategic vision for the University Outreach and Admissions Department.
Manage all activities associated with outreach and admissions, collaborating with other department heads and ensuring efficient, coordinated services.
Develop annual business plans for the outreach and admissions team and lead strategy across multiple regions.
Be responsible for achieving outreach and admissions targets for the Institution.
Make admissions decisions as part of the leadership of the Admissions Committee and collaborate with the leadership team to plan recruitment and application cycles, establish priorities, meet deadlines, and ensure cycles run smoothly.
Direct the team towards achieving the overall goal of attracting and admitting a large and diverse pool of outstanding students.
Design and implement strategies and digital initiatives to maximise reach to target audiences for programmes.
Analyse regional and national data to identify trends, best practices, and growth strategies.
Recruit, lead, and manage a team of regional / territory leaders.
Define and monitor overall KPIs and targets for the team.
Nurture and manage existing and prospective relationships with school / college administrators, counsellors, institutes, and third parties / business associates to facilitate interactions with students and parents from target groups.
Finalise all marketing brochures, pamphlets, videos, social media graphics, and any other materials required for promotional activities.
Collaborate with the personnel function on activities including recruitment, selection, training, performance evaluation, professional development, and supervision.
Develop strategies to make the admissions application and decision process more efficient, working collaboratively with units internal and external to the University.
Identify needs and develop strategies to promote excellence through training and supervision.
Develop long-term organisational goals and strategic plans for the Outreach and Admissions departments.
Oversee the development of a multichannel marketing and communications strategy.
Work and communicate with university departments and programmes regarding admissions-related changes.
Maintain contact with students throughout the recruitment process and, even after acceptance, ensure they enjoy a successful, smooth start to their academic careers.
