Key Responsibilities :
- Configure, manage, and support the Okta platform including users, groups, roles, and policies.
- Implement and manage Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions for cloud and on-premise applications.
- Configure and maintain Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) policies and enforcement.
- Integrate Okta with various SaaS applications (e.g., Office 365, Salesforce, AWS) and custom applications using SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SCIM.
- Manage user lifecycle processes including provisioning, deprovisioning, and access reviews.
- Monitor Okta health and performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with support teams as needed.
- Maintain documentation for configurations, workflows, and incident responses.
- Work with security and compliance teams to ensure IAM policies meet organizational and regulatory standards.
- Support audit activities by providing evidence of controls and configurations.
- Stay updated on Okta platform updates, new features, and best practices.
Qualifications and Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.2+ years of hands-on experience administering Okta or other IAM solutions.Strong knowledge of identity management, authentication, and authorization concepts.Experience with SSO protocols : SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect.Familiarity with provisioning protocols such as SCIM.Experience integrating Okta with cloud platforms and enterprise applications.Understanding of security standards and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.Skills Required
