Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive (BDE) to
drive enterprise adoption of MatterAI. You will identify, engage, and convert engineering
leaders and technical decision-makers at high-growth startups and large organizations. This
role requires a blend of strategic outreach, technical fluency, and consultative selling to
position MatterAI as the essential AI agent for secure, scalable code review.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute outbound sales campaigns via cold email and cold calling to engineering
executives and technical leaders
Articulate MatterAI’s value proposition, including code quality, security, and reviewefficiency improvements
Conduct discovery calls to understand technical environments, pain points, andintegration needs
Navigate technical objections and align MatterAI’s capabilities with customerworkflows and compliance requirements
Coordinate product demos with internal stakeholders and technical teamsSet up collaborative channels (e.g., Slack) to accelerate evaluation and onboardingManage the full sales cycle from lead engagement to close, meeting weekly andmonthly targets
Maintain accurate records of outreach, interactions, and pipeline progressionRequired Qualifications
2+ years of experience in B2B sales, SaaS, or technical business developmentProven track record in outbound prospecting via email and phoneStrong communication and presentation skills with ability to engage technicalstakeholders
Experience with tools like Apollo, Lusha, Hubspot(or any CRM)Self-starter with high accountability, capable of working autonomously underdeadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling to engineering or product teams in enterprise or startupenvironments
Basic understanding of software development workflows, version control(GitHub / GitLab), and security practices
