ServiceNow Developer

Contract : 3 to 6 : 8+ years

Key Skills :

Service Portal development
ITSM (IT Service Management)
ITOM (IT Operations Management)
Troubleshooting pattern issues
Experience with various types of discoveries : Cloud, Pattern, and Network Discovery
Strong coding skills in JavaScript and related ServiceNow scripting

Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications, workflows, and integrations with a focus on ITOM and Discovery modules.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues specifically related to discovery patterns and integrations.

Develop and customize Service Portals to improve user experience and functionality.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders and administrators, to gather requirements and implement solutions.

Build, test, and deploy ServiceNow solutions following best practices and coding standards.

Implement ITSM processes and assist in ITOM automation and orchestration.

Conduct code reviews, participate in design discussions, and mentor junior developers.

Maintain detailed documentation of code, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.

Monitor and optimize performance of the ServiceNow platform.

Keep abreast of new ServiceNow features and enhancements relevant to ITOM and Discovery.

Qualifications :

9+ years overall IT experience with at least 6 years specifically with ServiceNow ITOM and Discoveries.

Proven hands-on experience with Service Portal, ITSM, and ITOM modules.

Strong experience in discovery types : Cloud, Pattern, Network Discovery.

Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
