Business Development Executive (Intern)
Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated Business Development Intern to support our sales pipeline growth by prospecting new clients via Upwork, cold email campaigns, and targeted outreach. The ideal candidate is proactive, eager to learn B2B sales, and interested in the AI / Tech services domain.
Key Responsibilities
○ Research and identify potential clients in target verticals (e.g., BFSI, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Tech).
○ Specialize in generating new opportunities via Upwork, LinkedIn, and cold emails.
○ Build and maintain lead lists with accurate prospect details.
○ Draft personalized outreach messages and proposals to prospects.
○ Assist in setting up and running cold email sequences.
○ Track engagement rates, responses, and conversions from outreach.
○ Understand client pain points, challenges, and buying behaviors in target verticals.
○ Monitor competitors and identify differentiation opportunities.
○ Share research insights with the sales team to refine strategy.
○ Work closely with Sales & Marketing teams to align messaging and ICP (Ideal Customer Profile).
○ Maintain CRM / lead tracking sheets with updated prospect status.
○ Provide weekly reports on outreach performance and learnings.
