Role Summary

As a UX Designer 3, you will own a complex product area (multiple personas / form factors), shape experience strategy with PM / Engineering, and de-risk ambiguous problems. You will also lead AI-powered experience design in your domain—crafting assistant / copilot flows, establishing guardrails, and measuring safe, successful outcomes.

What you'll do

  • Define north-star experience and a phased path to value; map end-to-end journeys and service blueprints across channels.
  • Plan and run discovery to evaluative research; translate insights into prioritized experience bets tied to KPIs.
  • Lead usability studies and experiments (A / B, multivariate) with clear hypotheses and success criteria.
  • Design AI experiences : model intents, constraints, and recovery states for assistant / copilot flows.
  • Partner with data / ML on prompt patterns, feedback loops, and evaluation metrics (task success, safe-completion).
  • Design transparency & control : disclosures, confidence cues, data use notices, and opt-outs.
  • Scale our design system in your area—components, patterns, tokens—and raise the quality bar via reviews and audits.
  • Collaborate deeply with PM / Eng / Analytics / Legal to balance customer value, feasibility, compliance, and time-to-market.
  • Mentor designers; run critiques; codify best practices and playbooks.

What you'll bring

  • Must-haves
  • 8+ years shipping multi-surface products (web + app) with measurable impact.
  • Strong systems thinking, interaction design, and storytelling; comfort with ambiguity and trade-offs.
  • Proven experience connecting design to business metrics (activation, retention, revenue proxies, cost-to-serve).
  • Hands-on with Figma (advanced components, prototyping), research planning, and experiment design.
  • Experience designing AI-enabled features or workflows (assist, summarize, recommend)—with attention to safety and inclusion.
  • Good to have
  • Familiarity with accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA) edge cases and engineering annotations.
  • Comfort reading product dashboards (Mixpanel / GA4 or similar) and working in Agile.
  • Fintech exposure (e.g., KYC, onboarding, lending, payments) and regulatory awareness.
  • Impact & KPIs (examples)

  • ↑ Activation / ↑ Conversion on critical journeys; ↓ Time-to-task.
  • Reduce UX defects and support tickets for the owned area post-release.
  • AI feature metrics : task success, assist / deflection rate, satisfaction, safe-completion.
