GCP Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary :

We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our growing Engineering team. As an SRE, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our production systems across a multi-cloud environment (GCP & AWS). You’ll be responsible for owning application support, maintaining our microservices architecture, participating in a 24x7 on-call rotation, and driving reliability initiatives across the organization. You will collaborate closely with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to improve infrastructure automation, service uptime, monitoring, and deployment workflows using tools like Datadog and GitHub.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide end-to-end application support across cloud environments and microservices-based architecture.
• Maintain and optimize production systems deployed in GCP and AWS to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation, taking ownership of incident response, troubleshooting, and postmortem analysis.
• Monitor system performance, uptime, and logs using Datadog, and proactively address issues before they impact users.
• Improve CI / CD pipelines and developer workflows using GitHub Actions and other GitHub-based tools.
• Design and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Drive service reliability best practices, including SLOs, SLAs, and error budgets across teams.
• Identify and automate manual processes to increase operational efficiency.
• Support the deployment, operation, and optimization of containerized microservices in Kubernetes or similar platforms.
• Collaborate with software engineers to ensure services are production-ready and observable from the start.
