Job Summary :
The International Sales Executive will be responsible for driving overseas sales, managing distributor relationships, achieving sales targets, and expanding the company’s global footprint across assigned countries. The role involves handling end-to-end sales activities — from lead follow-up and quotation to order closing, documentation coordination, and payment tracking — ensuring a smooth export process and long-term business partnerships.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Global Lead Management & Sales Conversion
Follow up on qualified leads shared by the marketing department and convert them into active buyers.
Maintain detailed records of
country-wise and product-wise
sales inquiries, quotations, negotiations, and conversions.
Coordinate with the
Marketing, Documentation, and Dispatch
teams for smooth lead transfer and order execution.
Respond promptly to buyer inquiries and prepare
competitive quotations
based on product specifications, freight, and regulatory requirements.
2. Business Development & Market Expansion
Identify and onboard
new distributors and importers
in target countries through online research, exhibitions, and trade platforms.
Develop and maintain
strong relationships
with existing customers to generate repeat business.
Understand
country-specific market needs , pricing trends, and product demand patterns.
Regularly analyze
sales performance by country, region, and product category
and suggest strategic improvements.
3. Sales Communication & Negotiation
Conduct business communication through
emails, calls, and online meetings
with international clients.
Negotiate commercial terms (pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, incoterms, etc.) aligned with company policies.
Follow up on
pending quotations, orders, and payments
to ensure timely closure.
Handle
customer complaints or queries
in coordination with QA and Export teams.
4. Export Process Coordination
Collaborate with
Export Documentation, Accounts, and Production
teams to ensure smooth order processing.
Ensure timely
PI issuance, order confirmation, LC coordination , and shipping arrangements (FOB, CFR, CIF, DDP).
Track
order dispatch status , logistics, and payment follow-ups.
5. Market & Competitor Analysis
Research competitors’ activities, market share, and pricing for benchmarking.
Gather
import / export data
from trade databases and analyze opportunities in emerging markets.
Share feedback with management on
market behavior, customer preferences, and regulatory updates.
6. Exhibitions & Client Visits
Represent the company at
international exhibitions and trade fairs .
Manage pre- and post-event communication and lead follow-ups.
Assist visiting clients during factory visits or audits and ensure a professional experience.
7. Reporting & CRM Management
Maintain daily and weekly reports of leads, quotations, and conversions.
Update CRM / Excel trackers with latest activities, client interactions, and follow-ups.
Prepare
monthly sales analysis
with performance trends, target achievements, and forecasts.
Key Skills & Competencies :
Strong communication and email writing skills in English.
Good negotiation and presentation abilities.
Knowledge of
export documentation and incoterms (FOB, CFR, CIF, DDP) .
Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM tools, and online research.
Understanding of
medical device or healthcare product markets
is an advantage.
Self-motivated, organized, and target-driven personality.
Qualification & Experience :
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in
International Business, Marketing, Management, or Life Sciences.
2–5 years
of experience in international sales (medical devices / pharma / healthcare preferred).
Experience in dealing with overseas distributors, tenders, and institutional buyers.
