Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Azure Cloud Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, planning, management, and support of the Azure cloud environment. This role demands hands-on experience with a wide range of Azure services, automation tools, container platforms , and security practices to ensure a secure, reliable, and scalable cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Design, plan, manage, and support the Azure cloud environment with a focus on performance, scalability, and security.
Assist in managing and supporting virtual server environments and ensure robust business continuity processes throughout project lifecycles.
Maintain, monitor, and secure all Azure servers, including patch management, upgrades, installations, and detailed documentation.
Coordinate with various cross-functional stakeholders across the enterprise to align cloud architecture with business objectives.
Ensure compliance with schedule, quality, and delivery commitments across all assigned projects.
Plan and prioritize individual work, and collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and timelines .

Technical Requirements

Proficient in Azure CLI, PowerShell, ARM Templates , and Terraform .

Strong experience with container platforms and tools including Kubernetes , Docker , Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) , and Azure Container Service .

Deep knowledge of Azure networking , including Azure Virtual Networks, ExpressRoute, Site-to-Site VPN, NSG , and App Service Environment .

Skilled in Azure DevOps configuration and pipeline management.

Proficient in Azure PaaS services , including provisioning and securing services like API Management, Azure App Services, Event Hubs, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, and Azure SQL .

Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) , including Azure AD, Azure AD B2C, OpenID Connect , and cloud security practices such as Azure Key Vault, HSTS, SSL / TLS, Ingress Control , and certificate management .

Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, SysDig , and Application Insights .
